ABSTRACT
In this paper, a theoretical model that was previously developed by the author (Hamed 2016a, 2016b) is used to investigate the influence of various stiffnesses of the supporting system on the behavior and failure load of PCSPs. The model accounts for cracking and tension-stiffening, material nonlinearity of the concrete in compression, and yielding of the steel reinforcement.
