ABSTRACT
In this study, the buckling behavior of an infinite orthotropic composite plate constrained by a tensionless elastic foundation and subjected to in-plane shear loading was investigated. The unknown non-contact and contact areas between the plate element and foundation are illustrated in local coordinate systems (x1,y,w1) and (x2,y,w2), respectively (Figure 1).
