Tool to evaluate the resilience of buildings to severe wind events

The Cyclone Testing Station has undertaken damage investigations in all Wind Regions in Australia (Reardon et al. 1999, Boughton et al. 2011, Leitch et al. 2009, Boughton & Falck 2008). The damage mechanisms identified in those investigations together with wind tunnel, static and cyclic load tests on structural and cladding elements have been used in the development of the tool.
