ABSTRACT

Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) is a topic of great interest in concrete structural engineering. But many researches on SHM are under quasi static condition or low speed impact. It is a widely concerned problem that dynamic performance and response of concrete under explosion and impact load in military field. It is also a common problem in weapon engineering and protection engineering. High speed impact, penetration of weapons, ammunition explosion, etc. are common impact loads. The features of these loads are short reaction time and high impact strength. Under explosion and impact load, the mechanics performance of concrete are very different from that under quasi static conditions. It is very important to research the mechanics performance of concrete under explosion load. The research on SHM of dynamic performance of concrete depends on dynamic test experiment. Dynamic test need to get dynamic strain field.
