ABSTRACT
Due in large part to the political and local diversification of American law enforcement agencies, communication and information sharing have historically been cumbersome and inefficient. Nowhere is this more illustrated on occasion than in the field of homicide investigation, as agencies sometimes labored to solve homicides, unaware that perhaps their information held the key to solving a murder in another jurisdiction, or vice versa.
