ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Demolition techniques and the management of construction and demolition waste of buildings are key issues in the development of sustainable construction. Therefore, it is necessary to define the different terms clearly and to differentiate them from each other. This paper gives an overview of various terms and definitions from the field of deconstruction. Furthermore, existing demolition methods are shown and an outlook on the use of robots on the construction site in the future is given. Finally, the planned works within the project PROGRESS regarding the reuse of metal building envelopes are described.
