ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT The subject of the presented investigation is the application of a LCM model (Life Cycle Management) developed by FCP in close collaboration with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) for bridge structures along three selected routes from the Austrian railway network. The objective of the investigation was a prognosis of the heavy maintenance and replacement demand for bridges for different forecast periods (12, 50 and 100 years).
