ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: In this study, a hybrid model was developed by coupling a MIKE 21 and OILMAP model to simulate oil transport after oil spill. The coupled model was applied in the Bohai Sea. This model was able to reproduce hydrodynamics processes. Moreover, the oil transport trace modeled by the hybrid model was also compared with the observed data. It was found that the developed model could predict oil transport.
