ABSTRACT
The sensors in our bodies are the smallest, most sensitive, and fastest response sensors of all. This chapter provides the description, pathway, and characteristics of each human sensor. These are found in our visual, gustatory, olfactory, auditory, vestibular, and somatic sensory systems. Finally, examples of biomimetic sensors, those designed to mimic human sensors, are described.
