ABSTRACT
In order to determine the location of pages of a book with respect to the covers of a book, a reliable and efficient sensor technology is needed. Technologies using electrical or mechanical contact methods have been ruled out due to inefficiencies in operations and/or use. Radio Frequency Identification, or RFID, has been selected for use due to its non-mechanical nature and its flexibility.
