ABSTRACT

CHAracterizing Individual Speakers (CHAINS) was used to determine the accuracy of identifying an individual by an assortment of methods. e CHAINS project is used to identify key features in voices unique to individuals, which are possibly shared between speakers who adopt each other’s style of speaking. e datasets included 36 speakers (18 males and 18 females) from East Ireland, from those who speak Eastern HibernoEnglish, from the United Kingdom, and the United States. All subjects are recorded under several speaking conditions. is allows speaker comparison across a variety of well-dened speech styles (https://chains.ucd.ie/ paccess.php).
