ABSTRACT

98This work introduces fuzzy logic as a computational method for hydrodynamics instability in water system. Investigation of leakage points in the water distribution network leads to the reduction of the real case amount of non-revenue water (NRW). The relationship classes between the spatial data and non-spatial data are a tool for communication between coordination of water system elements related to NRW data. In this work, the up-to-one-second-signals-detection method based on geographic information system (GIS) and fuzzy logic is incorporated with highly advanced data logger system. The fuzzy logic combination with GIS for rapid data intercommunication through programmable logic control (PLC) system presents a new algorithmic contribution. As a result, this work shows the performance of the fuzzy logic combination with the GIS for rapid data intercommunication which has an important role on water system disaster management.
