ABSTRACT
322With the increase in consumption of plastics, we are also posing a threat to mankind. Since plastics take more than a century to degrade, we are left with a question, “How do we dispose plastics and where?” Since years, we have been dumping it either on grounds or in sea. Incineration has also not proved to be that effective. We have a solution. What if we could utilize this waste plastics and turn it back to raw material. As simple as water to ice and back to water? Yes, this chapter will guide you through the science of converting waste plastics to crude oil.
