ABSTRACT
Generally, CR users should be able to sense all spectrums, then select best vacant spectrum, share selected spectrum information to neighbor cognitive users, and nally, provide seamless connectivity during data transmission. To maintain such conditions, four basic functions are required in CRNs which include SS, spectrum decision/management, spectrum sharing/allocation, and spectrum mobility/handoff.
