ABSTRACT
A cause-and-effect diagram is a visual representation of the possible causes of a specific problem or condition. The effect is listed on the right-hand side and the causes take the shape of fish bones. This is the reason it is sometimes called a fishbone diagram or an Ishikawa diagram.
