ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT The creation of new technologies like cloud computing and the Internet of Things has indeed brought great chances for the evolution of wise transportation. Being an efficient integration of data processing technology, communication transmission technology, Internet technology, and intelligent sensor technology, wise transportation has been applied into the whole transportation system, which is quite comprehensive and systematic. This system is of great importance especially in terms of a comparative larger spacetime scale. If a comparison is made with intelligent transportation, it might be found that the wise transportation system could not only be used to lay comparative greater emphasis over the exploitation and utilization of data but also be used to accumulate and deliver data. The system puts more focus on the decision-making reaction, knowledge discovery, and traffic analysis of the information. This new concept covers a number of tasks where traditions have been overtaken by intelligent technology, which requires manual resolution and discrimination to achieve the optimization. In addition, with the development of car networking, wise transportation pays greater attention to the interconnection between the transportation information system and other information systems to the maximum extent possible. Then, it is obvious that the deeper analysis of the transportation data and further efficient management are the key takeaways in the promotion of wise transportation. It takes mining, integrating, and collecting the transportation information in different fields and hence it could play a more crucial role in easing traffic jams, ensuring the transportation security, and guaranteeing the efficiency of the transportation.
