Regenerative Medicine for Multimodal Management of Canine Osteoarthritis

While osteoarthritis (OA) is a common cause of pain and lameness in dogs, no definitive treatment has been identified. In many dogs, conservative treatments including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs), joint supplements, weight management, and rehabilitation therapy fail to provide a long-term response. For these patients, regenerative medicine is another option in the multimodal approach to managing OA.
