Furthermore, especially in the past decade, in vivo 99mTc MAA distributions have begun to be used in conjunction with dosimetry models such as the medical internal radiation dose (MIRD) (Gulec et al., 2006) or partition (Ho et al., 1996) models to calculate the tumor and normal liver doses (see, e.g., Chiesa et al., 2015; Garin et al., 2013).
