ABSTRACT

This review analysis the antiphytopathogenic secondary metabolites isolated from endophytic fungi. Among many others attributes of endophytic fungi, they are also a promising source of novel compounds exhibiting antagonistic activity against phytopathogens. Endophytes represent a dependable source of specific secondary metabolites and can be manipulated both physiochemically and genetically to increase yields of defined metabolites and to produce novel analogues of bioactive metabolites.
