ABSTRACT
Without ignoring the importance of the clinical examination and history-taking (see Chapters 7, 8), it is fair to say that achieving diagnosis is unlikely without the performing of diagnostic tests. Similarly, proper dosing technique is required to medicate the ferret. This chapter will give a basic guide to diagnostic and therapeutic techniques in the ferret.
