ABSTRACT
The architect is the unique integrator of the process flows, equipment, personnel flows, and mechanical systems into a building. The purpose of this chapter is to assist the reader in understanding how the architectural process works and what the key architectural concepts are in incorporating current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) into the design of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
