ABSTRACT
As of 2016 the European CoORdination of Information on the Environment (CORINE) Land Cover (CLC) project has 30 years of history, with nearly 40 participating countries. However, its database is the target of many detractors who believe this information is not accurate enough and whose scale and mapping thresholds must be improved.
