ABSTRACT
It is not often that a few brief seconds are of any consequence. But in an automobile, as you know all too well, just a few seconds can mean the difference between life and death. What can we possibly tell you that you don’t already know? Wear your seat belts? But you know this. Don’t speed? But you know this. We will skip almost all of what we think you know. But we believe that there are a few critical things that you may not know and so take this opportunity to address them. This knowledge can give you the few seconds you need to save your life or someone else’s.
