ABSTRACT
Surveillance radars need to accurately determine target positions and movements. This chapter shows how widening the bandwidth of a generic radar improves its Doppler or angular resolution. It develops the required bandwidths for obtaining such gains. It shows the processing algorithms necessary to give access to the required surveillance and target analysis functions.
