ABSTRACT

Museum interactive display is the necessary trend of museum development. It makes spectators participate in the exhibition positively, turns the traditional passive visiting process to a bidirectional transmission and study process of discovering and thinking in the process of experiencing, and implements the bidirectional interaction between humans and displayed information. Interactive display technology plays the rather important role in the performance means of interactive display. This paper starts from the perspective of spectators’ behavioral experience and elaborates the applications of interactive display technology in museum exhibitions from three behavioral experience aspects: “multimedia interaction” somatic sense and experience, “man–machine interaction” operation experience, and “contextual simulation” participation experience.
