ABSTRACT
Sustainable development as regulative idea in the European Union urges real estate and construction business to live up to this postulate. Given the practical context of a real-estate company, case study research is used to implemented into the process of real-estate development. These decision processes are systematically linked to the identified demanding aspects for sustainable development. Finally, it is explained, how the identified structures and decision making processes and related information on sustainable development can be linked to existing building development and construction operation as basis for strategic management decision-making in any real-estate context.
