ABSTRACT
Why team-based learning is important Primary care is delivered in teams in the UK. Some practice teams are well established with members all working under one roof and holding regular meetings. In other cases the team is more diffuse – with attached staff sharing the care of patients with GPs and practice nurses, and administrative staff in the surgery building providing linking and co-ordinating roles.
