ABSTRACT
In addition to the empirical and broad clinical support DBT enjoys as the preferred treatment modality for BPD, it is increasingly used with multi-diagnostic difficult-tomanage patients, criminal offenders, and individuals with antisocial personality characteristics.12-18 Further, given the emphasis on behavior change and improving problemsolving and interpersonal effectiveness, DBT lends itself well to applications for offenders.
