ABSTRACT
Changes were announced in March 2011 that transferred responsibility for the board’s governmental sponsorship from the Access to Justice group of the Ministry of Justice to Her Majesty’s Court Services. This marks the parole board’s transition from a primarily advisory role to being an increasingly court-like body.
