ABSTRACT
Problems with the external ear and middle ear can often be diagnosed by physical examination. Further evaluation with an audiologic examination is often necessary. This typically includes an audiogram, tympanogram, and acoustic reflexes. Additional workup, such as CT or MRI, can be important in the evaluation.
