ABSTRACT
This group covers a wide range of neoplasms originating from either meningothelial (arachnoidal cap cell) or other meningeal cell types. The 2007 World Health Organization (WHO) classification divides these into meningiomas, mesenchymal non-meningothelial tumours, haemangiopericytomas, melanocytic lesions and haemangioblastomas.103
