ABSTRACT
ABSRACT: This research article presents a new approach to the study of lean construction whose methods are widely used in modern countries. Lean construction today is one of the most advanced directions of the construction organization which regards the improvements of building site processes as fundamental for reducing the waste and decreasing the overall cost and time for construction. The main approach of lean is to identify construction waste in the value stream map and develop of methods to reduce them. However, which of them should be reduced firstly? What should the company which wants to become lean do during the initial stages? What main principles of lean should be accepted by this company? This article presents it.
