ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Living walls are nowadays becoming an essential part of building indoor or outdoor architecture. Through their ability of managing water, living walls are offering a considerable potential in waste water treatment technologies, also suitable for grey water. Integration of living walls into grey water system is relatively new concept. Design of functional grey water system using living wall, requires individual system parts specification, considering the treatment ability and options in addition to add this system only as a secondary treatment or focus on the characteristics improvement and apply only living walls treatment. According to the wide range of factors influencing the design of this technology, we focused on the system layout and variables affecting the system design.
