ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The paper describes analysis of cable dome under static and dynamic load and some types of analyzes with symmetric and asymmetric loads. If a critical load is obtained in Levy cable dome, prolongation of active member can redistribute forces. Cable domes are sensitive to asymmetric load and other changes in prestress. Active cable systems equipped with sensors and actuators provide active control of the shape and can adapt the structure to the various external influences and inducements. The results of this parametric study will be applied as input data for further optimization process using generator of neural network and genetic algorithms.
