ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Planning documentation is one of the fundamental coordination instruments for sustainable development of the territory. The territory of the Czech Republic is topographically mapped in two ways-as the basic state map series and thematic state map series. The raster base mostly consists of the cadastral map on a scale of 1:2880, which is provided in the form of scanned maps of the stable cadastre. The actual records of buildings is an essential element for the urban development of the area. Extending the database facilitates the process of acquisition of the plan and flexible response to change in the area under the multi-year acquisition process. This article concentrates on the creation of ground plans in terms of data structure and map bases.
