ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The paper presents fundamental information about theoretical research oriented towards the local stability of short axially compressed rectangular ConcreteFilled Steel Tubes (CFSTs) with and without welded end-plates. The investigated members were subjected to various forms of compressive loading at its cross section. The influence of different support conditions of loaded edges of the steel section on local buckling deformation of composite structures is also described. The results of this research were obtained by simulating the behaviour of these structures in ABAQUS computationalgraphics software.
