ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The developed methods of evaluation seismic stability of buildings and structures in the different countries (Turkey, Israel, Slovenia and etc.) are described and analyzed in this paper for the further usage in the building construction in the Gaza Strip. In this paper the authors determine main factors that increase or decrease the stability of buildings in the earthquake conditions. They describe the methodology for risk ranking and offer a universal approach to the evaluation of seismic resistance buildings and structures in Gaza considering totality of considered factors.
