ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The optimal selection of a machine or machine group for building processes is a very important role of the building planner during the process of building planning. In our contribution the ability of machines to realize the designed building process (quality aspect), duration of the mechanized process (time aspect) and minimizing of energy consumption (cost and environmental aspect) are analyzed. We have developed the present state of knowledge of the purpose of the machines and machine groups for building processes. The optimization method was proposed and implemented into soil processes and selected building group of machines (excavators and trucks), which are often used in construction. In our contribution will be presented key mathematical models for model example solution and software built in Java, which has been created as a support for method described in this contribution. Application of this method and software will increase the effectiveness of building machine selection.
