ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: The Occupational Safety And Health (OSH) approach is very different for various organizations. It is particularly evident in the attitude to compliance with safety regulation. Despite the high risk of building production there are organizations that do not comply with these regulations at all or only under the threat of penalties and fines, but also those which approach the OSH obligations beyond the legal requirements. The voluntary principle in the OSH approach needs to be encouraged through resources to help organizations navigate when deciding to invest in prevention. An appropriate means of obtaining specific indicators is a mathematical model that expresses the dependence between costs of prevention and accident costs in relation to attitudes towards OSH.
