Plastic resistance of IPE-section to interaction of bending internal forces My,Ed, Vz,Ed and torsion internal forces BEd, Tω,Ed and Tt,Ed

ABSTRACT: The resistances of the I-or H-section to interactions of bending and torsion internal forces are missing in the current Eurocodes. New approach is proposed taking into account interaction of bending moment My,Ed, shear force Vz,Ed, bimoment BEd, warping torsional moment Tω,Ed and St. Venant torsional moment Tt,Ed acting on I-or H-section. Solutions of various authors, different interaction diagrams and reduction factors are presented and compared. Numerical example shows application of the proposed procedure.
