      The swash zone has the unique features, such as high unsteadiness, short duration, narrow space, which means bed-load sediment may not reach the equilibrium state instantly in reality. To better understand the physical phenomena, it is worthy to investigate whether bed load can adapt to the capacity regime within the swash zone.
