ABSTRACT
The study was carried out including Women undergoing replacement of breast implants from January 2011 to July 2013, at the Hospital Center of Gaia, Portugal. Upon arrival, the implants were visually examined and the presence and appearance of any implant shell rupture (hole, split or V-shaped), discoloration, opacity or other unusual features were recorded for future comparisons.
