ABSTRACT
The pelvic cavity model was obtained through the segmentation of high-resolution Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) of a healthy female, in supine position. Some of the structures could not be segmented from the MR images and were designed in a Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, based on anatomy pictures from the literature. The 3D solid model was constructed and discretized in finite elements.
