ABSTRACT
Domestic and foreign scholars do not have a unified definition in terms of the concept of folk sports. In comparison, the definition proposed by Wu Bingan and Wang Degang is more likely to be accepted by people. Wu Bingan thought that folk games referred to the entertainment activities which were popular in people’s daily life. They were mainly popular among teenagers and adult entertainment programs in festivals.[3] Wang Degang thought that folk games were the entertainment activities with competitive features while being excluded from the formal events, which were spread widely among people and were inherited from generation to generation.[4]
1.3 Sports games
The sports game is one of the members in the game family, which is a branch during the evolution process of games. Currently, sports games have been widely used in the body building, sports training and sports teaching areas. Sports games contains the dual characteristics of sports and games.
