ABSTRACT

It’s known that environmental problems are generated with the economic and social development, thus, the nature of environmental problems is one of most important economic and social issues. The traditional model of economic development led to global environmental pollution, ecological damage and threat to human survival and development. The students in colleges and universities are advanced expertise of social construction and management in the future, from the view of comprehensive quality education, learn the course “ environmental protect” is very important for them. In 1996, the Ministry of environmental protection, the Central Propaganda Department, the ministry of education clearly stated “environmental protect compulsory course or elective course should open to students of non-environmental specialty in colleges or universities (Zhou 1999). According to the survey, teaching environmental protection conspectus to students of non-environmental specialty was not an easy work, some problems existed such as fewer classes, no suitable textbooks, students paid no attention to an elective course and so on (Xu et al. 2005). Since, environmental protection conspectus should be offered to students of nonenvironmental specialty. How to give more information in limited classes, how to foster the interest of students to this course?
