ABSTRACT
From the architectural model, cloud storage system has a storage layer compared with cloud computing system. Cloud storage also has a lot of basic management functions related to the data management and data security. In the cloud storage system, the users don’t need to know the system, even don’t need to know the specific locations of their data, all of equipments in cloud storage are completely transparent to the users. The users don’t need to maintain the hardware and software update, don’t need to make their own data backup. The specific cloud storage service providers will provide the services which the users need to pay. For small and medium enterprises, they can greatly save the investment in hardware, and get the required storage space and computing power with a low-cost.
