ABSTRACT
First take a look at China’s first space lesson, its implementation process and characteristics. The manned spacecraft Shenzhou 10 has been successfully launched on June 11, 2013, and landed on June 26, 2013, successfully orbiting for 15 days. Among them, China’s first female astronaut, Wang Yaping, gave a space lesson on June 20, 2013 from 10:04 to 10:55 to demonstrate 5 physical experiments at weightless environment for 80000 schools and 80000 young students. Learners from all over the world have participated in this space lessons through TV or Internet. This space teaching project is jointly hosted by CMSEO (China Manned Space Engineering Office), MOE (Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China), and CAST (China Association for Science and Technology). The characteristics of space lessons are as follows:
