ABSTRACT
Since visualization can help improve the efficiency and quality of data mining, the combination of data mining and visualization has become a research focus. As a subfield of data mining, community detection technology has been brought significant advances in social network analysis in recent years (Fortunato 2010). The main aim of community detection is to analyze the clustering feature of social network, which is the most important characteristic of social network, and divide the social network into different communities. However, current community detection research works are rarely related to the visualization of social network, and current layout algorithms of network (or graph) visualization cannot well show the clustering feature of social network, so users cannot intuitively perceive the clustering structure of social network.
