ABSTRACT

The use of nanomaterials for drug delivery is an advancing topic in the field of nano biotechnology. The versatile nature of nanomaterials has made them efficient candidates for drug delivery and treatment of various life-threatening diseases. Nanomaterials have unique properties, shape, and size, making them excellent candidates for use in site-specific delivery. Physical and chemical interaction, retention effect, and permeability of nanomaterials have allowed their use in delivering the desired drug molecule to the right site with minimum toxicity. In this chapter we will explain how nanomaterials are manufactured and synthesized using different significant methods and procedures.
