ABSTRACT
Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) offloading or simply offloading technology means releasing congestion in the licensed spectrum, that is, from cellular networks toward the unlicensed band of Wi-Fi. The latter is achieved through a vertical handover supported by mobile devices, thus creating a balance in data usage with no additional infrastructure.
